Beech. Perfect for furnishings, interior design and everyday objects.

Beech defines the surrounding forests in our region like no other  species, it is not for nothing that the nearby forest region is called “Schönbuch” (literally beautiful beech) and thus sums up another important characteristic of this  wood: beech forests are beautiful forests and so is anything made from this wood .

Beech wood offers a high homogeneity. This predestines   white beech (steamed or unsteamed) for anything that is to impress with modern simplicity and straightforward clarity. Due to its above-average hardness and homogeneous structure, beech wood is extremely easy and clean to work with and  is also easy to bend when steamed. In the meantime,  red  heart beech is also increasingly in demand, because this wood, provided it is gently dried, has a particularly vivid colour pattern and is therefore excellently suitable for stylishly designed products.

All-rounder with design potential

Primarily used in furniture, staircase and interior design, beech wood is also used in musical instrument making. Here, the native beech can be planted with appropriate processing offer an alternative to maple from overseas, for example. Due to its homogeneous appearance, beech is also popular for everyday utensils such as wooden spoons, shoe trees as well as bowls or sliced veneers. Redheart beech is increasingly in demand in furniture making because this wood is particularly suitable for decorative furniture with an exclusive design. Beech proves to be a simple all-rounder that can also be used in a variety of ways and offers a very good price-performance ratio. Of course, its high availability also contributes to this, especially in our region.
